| About Us Here is a list of the great people who have volunteered to be officers of the Society. You can use the "Contact us" page to reach any one of us, or you can e-mail them directly. Presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors and the general meetings; appoint the members of any special committee, subject to the board's approval; sign documents and contracts on behalf of LDS; and any additional duties deemed necessary by the board. Exercises all duties of the President in the President's absence. Takes minutes of all board meetings and general meetings where LDS business is conducted. Conducts the financial business of LDS, including signing checks, balancing the checking account, and reporting to the board and membership, the financial status of the club; Informs the Newsletter Editor the names and addresses of all new members. Performance Coordinator: Linda Mayhall jdmhall@aol.com Organizes the LDS performances, including security leaders for each performance, and informing the Newsletter Editor of all performance dates. Composes, publishes, and mails out the monthly newsletter for all LDS members. Organizes the Ohio Valley Gathering, including contacting tourism cabinets, finding workshop leaders, and assigning duties to volunteers.
